One of our most versatile bar creations, chamomile simple syrup can be used in a variety of cocktails. Just use it in place of simple syrup wherever subtle floral notes are desired. We’ve had great results with a variety of spirits, including:
- Bourbon
- Brandy
- Tequila
- Gin
- Pisco
Chamomile simple also pairs well with a variety of fruits, such as citrus fruits, green apple, pear, berries. For a tasty example, checkout our Paloma Cocktail — a lightly floral, fruit-forward twist on a classic. Chamomile simple should also work nicely in sour or an aquafaba-based gin flip (which we’re excited to expirement with soon!). Subscribe to stay up to date on our upcoming recipes.
Note: If you’re using simple syrup in place of agave in a recipe, don’t forget to double the amount! Agave is much sweeter than simple syrup.
